How far can we invade celebrity privacy?

One of the main stories this week is of the photographer who tried to take a picture up Katy Perry's skirt! Being the protective boyfriend Russel grabbed the photographer, shouted abuse and tried to hit him. Many people would argue that the couple freely put themselves in the lime light and therefore people are allowed to take pictures of them whenever they want but how intrusive are photographers allowed to be? Any woman would agree that someone trying to take pictures up your skirt is far to intrusive which i believe it is. But was the act by the photographer simply a stunt to get a reaction from Russel which would have made a more interesting picture? If that is the case then the photographer got what he wanted however Russel could now be facing assult charges. Many celebs face intrusion from photographers camping outside their houses to trying to take pictures through the windows to taking pictures on family holidays.

Should there be boundaries to where pictures can be taken and to what of when it comes to celebs?
